1. Scope of Services


AKBION Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent freelance studio based in the Netherlands, offering the following services:


  • Graphic design and branding
  • Website design and development

    • These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by AKBION Studio, including those initiated via this website, email, or direct contact.

    2. Delivery of Work


    Deliverables are provided via email, WhatsApp, or, in exceptional cases, via USB (when meeting in person; the USB cost will be charged additionally).

    Preferably, deliverables are sent by email unless otherwise agreed.

    3. Payments


    Standard payment terms: 50% upfront and 50% upon completion.

    Payment methods: cash (rare, in-person) or bank transfer. IBAN and account details will be provided on the invoice.

    The upfront payment secures the project and is non-refundable once work has commenced.

    If the final payment is not received, AKBION Studio retains the upfront 50% and reserves the right to withhold the final deliverables.

    4. Cancellation


    Clients may cancel within 7 days of contract acceptance without cost.

    After 7 days, if work has already started, the upfront 50% is retained by AKBION Studio.

    No deliverables are provided if the project is canceled after work has begun (i.e., after 7 days).

    5. Revisions


    Each project includes a defined number of revisions (to be agreed per project).

    Additional revisions beyond the agreed number may incur extra charges, agreed before implementation.

    6. Intellectual Property


    AKBION Studio retains full ownership of all designs and deliverables until full payment is received.

    Upon full payment, clients receive a limited license for the intended purpose (print, web, or as agreed).

    “Print rights” are not automatically included for websites; additional licensing for printing or distribution must be requested and agreed separately.

    7. Use for Portfolio and Marketing


    AKBION Studio reserves the right to showcase all work as part of its portfolio, marketing, and social media, including websites, branding, and other deliverables.

    Client logos, brand names, and related materials may be displayed unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.

    8. Liability


    AKBION Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, lost revenue or issues caused by printing or implementation by third parties.

    Responsibility is limited to the services and deliverables explicitly agreed upon.

    9. Governing Law


    These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

    Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Dutch courts.
